Who you will work with
I’m Evan Baker, a software engineer and AI builder. Before Mantlet, I built and supported systems used by more than 50 organizations through Cloud303, an AWS consulting firm; Demarly, an AI software company; and an S&P 500 software company serving the public sector.
I kept meeting businesses that knew AI mattered but not what was worth building, so I started Mantlet to close that gap. I lead the strategy and architecture on every engagement and bring in additional engineers when a project needs them.

Why is the upgraded audit free?
We are launching and want to work closely with our first group of established businesses. The experience behind Mantlet is not new; the dedicated agency is.
What happens during the call?
We learn how your business operates, find where AI could create value, prioritize the strongest opportunities, and estimate their impact. You leave knowing which AI projects are worth pursuing.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing is required. If you have time, jot down the three processes that take your team the most time and the main tools you use.

Do I have to hire you afterward?
No. There is no obligation either way. If you had the upgraded audit, the written roadmap is yours: have your own team build it, or give it to another engineer.
What does implementation cost?
Every project is scoped individually, and you see the cost in a proposal before you commit to anything. Larger projects are split into milestones.

Do you only build automations?

Will private AI be cheaper than cloud AI?
Not automatically. For light usage, cloud AI is usually more economical. The case for private infrastructure grows with usage, privacy requirements, and how much the business depends on AI. We will tell you which side of that line you are on.
Will you sign an NDA before the call?
Yes. It is not required, but if you would like a mutual NDA in place first, tick the box on the application and we will send one before the call.
